Spec
Here's my armory link www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Aggramar&cn=Reidazarcy
This spec or something similar, the points in Crusade and Seals of the Pure are optional. Judgments of the Just and Vindication are wasted talents these debuffs are covered by other classes / specs.
Major Glyphs
Divine Plea - This glyph is a must, activate Divine Plea enter combat and enjoy a static 3% damage reduction.
Seal of Vengeance - This is useful if your expertise is low, since it's the seal you will be using while tanking why not get 10 expertise.
HotR - This glyph will cause your HotR to hit an extra target, this is great for farming heroics where it's mostly trash packs.
Judgment - Good for raiding, adds 10% damage to your judgments, increasing your single target threat / damage.
Minor Glyphs
Sense Undead, Blessing of Kings, Lay on Hands.
Rotation
Similar to Ret Paladins but with RF up to increase your threat by 80%. Your rotation consists of using your abilities as they come of cooldown prioritizing the more damaging abilities first SoR > HotR > Judgments > Other Stuff. Or for AE tanking, Cons > HotR > SoR > Other Stuff. There are a few self buffs you can get out of the way before pulling or as running to the target, SS > DP > HS > AV this way you have 4 GCD's out of the way so you can begin your damaging attacks as soon as you're in melee range. You can also attack with Ex if everything else is on CD, or use Holy Wrath if the boss / mobs are undead or demon.
Paladins have 2 taunts, HoR is your single target taunt it also causes damage equal to half your attack power. Your second taunt will taunt up to 3 targets at once, if you see a party member has aggro target them and hit your RD this will pull up to 3 targets off of them. Or you can target the loose mob and use RD this will automatically do a target of target and pull up to 3 loose adds back.
Cooldowns
You'll have 2 defensive cooldowns, or 3 if you have 4p T10. DP is on a 2min cd and will reduce all incoming damage by 50%. DG is a very useful cooldown if you have the macro for it from the Pally Macro thread, this ability will cause you and anyone withing 30yds of you to take 20% reduced damage. If you have 4p T10 you can use DP to gain 12% dodge for 15s this is on a 1min cd and very useful for bosses that require tank swaps hitting DP as you taunt to help lower your initial damage intake if healers are slow to change targets.
More may be added to this post as I think of it. If you have any questions hit me up in game.
